So, clearly I stick to what I think works for me. We’re all unique and different “things” work for different people. For example, I wear lots of heels with ankle straps because a) I feel more confident and think I look better and stand straighter in a heeled shoe, and b) I have skinny ankles, so some heels without straps tend to fall off when I walk. Ain’t nobody got time to pull a Cinderella on the daily- so a strappy shoe is my fav. I also typically like silhouettes that either have a full skirt or a longer top, so the details of my bottom half aren’t too exposed for my comfort. I mean, really, nobody needs to see all that..

I suggest you try different styles and silhouettes until you find what really works for your body, your style, and your life! For example, if you have babies to chase around most of the day, you probably don’t want to wear these shoes (although I could probably wear them almost every day! :).)

I’ve always had a thing for white shoes with black toe caps. Literally, though. I remember, as a child, when my mom bought me some oxford lace up shoes with black toe caps. I LOVED those things and I was a little bit heartbroken when they didn’t fit me anymore!

Don’t even get me started on this chiffon fringe! I can’t get enough of it! PLUS- you can get 40% off at Banana Republic (where I got this blazer and the white fringed top in my previous post) today with the code ‘BR40.’

Anyway, I’m trying to stay completely committed to blogging for you guys. I’d like to blog about more than outfits though, so if you have any requests for blog posts, please let me know in the comments- I’d love to pick one of your ideas for my next post!
