When asked to describe my personal style, “comfy” is not really an adjective that comes to mind.
In fact, I’ve really never cared about being “comfy” when I leave the house. I mean, of course, there’s a whole “comfy” spectrum.. like, for example, pajamas and fluffy socks are extremely comfy, while sensible, flat sandals are still comfy, but not quite AS comfy as said pjs and socks. Know what I mean? So, my goal has always been to feel functionally comfy: comfortable enough to do whatever I need to do with ease, but not so comfortable that I want to curl up and take a nap.
I just feel more put-together and polished when I’m not wearing pajamas, that’s all..
So when I first tried this dress on, my first thought was that it could actually qualify as a pajama piece, because it’s so stinking comfortable. Second thought was that the pink is such a stunningly perfect color for spring/summer and I definitely wouldn’t want to waste it at home. No, this dress would HAVE to see the light of day outside of my home!
That dramatic laugh, though…
I paired it with a denim jacket, a vintage belt and silk scarf, a Kate Spade bangle watch (SO fab, I highly recommend this unique style of watch from KS!) and these amazing floral pumps. All of these pairings are from past seasons, but you can find similar items linked below.
