We are halfway through October and I am showing no signs of a departure from my obsession with this little off-white bag..
I know, staaahhhhp.
Anyway, I can’t believe that I have actually been consistent with blogging for as long as I have (it’s been probably three months? That’s like a decade in SkirtedFancy years!). I looked over my feed from the past couple months and it didn’t take long to notice that I pretty much just blog about fashion these days!
I really want to expand my content to address more than modest fashion, as much as I do enjoy chatting about modest fashion and sharing my modest fashion finds with you guys. How many times can I type modest fashion in one paragraph?!
I know a lot of my readers have questions about hair and the practice of law, so I’d like to talk more about those subjects. Feel free to leave your questions in the comments so I can remember them next time I’m working on a post about life outside of fashion!
SO, this is actually a modest outfit post, so I should probably chat about that real quick too.. I wanted a fabulous red blazer to wear all fall and winter this year (I can see it topping off soooo many outfits,) and this one from Tahari ASL (c/o) is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted gold buttons since most of my handbags have gold hardware and I wanted it to be this exact shade of statement red. The quality is incredible (obviously, this brand makes beautiful quality suit wear and other workwear) and the fit is both comfortable and flattering. Sounds like perfection to me!
Today I wanted a slightly casual vibe- *gasp* yes, I seriously said “casual” even though I’m wearing stilettos- so I paired my new blazer with this striped top (c/o) (with the cutest shoulder ruffles) and a denim skirt that unfortunately sold out at Skirt Society SUPER quickly.
The top feels like a cozy henley that you could probably use as pjs, to be honest and is a staple that I’m sure I will be wearing VERY often, year-round. Now that I think of it, maybe I should order a backup..
